Manager-Strategic Analysis & Business Development

Role Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:
The Business Development Strategic Analysis manager for GE Transportation (GET) Digital Solutions, will bring skills, experience, and analytic capabilities around the areas of:
+ Market and strategic analysis
+ Capital allocation
+ Financial analysis and modeling
+ M&A and other business development activities such as operational due diligence, deal structures, organizational analysis, operational systems, and partnering arrangements
+ Leadership and project management of multi-functional teams focused on opportunity analysis, due diligence, business case development, deal rationale, deal structure, and execution around acquisitions and partnerships that expand GET capabilities and market position.Responsibilities:
+ Drive financial frameworks, analysis, and development of Growth Playbook (3-5 year growth plan) and annual new product investment allocation. Act as/become a subject matter expert in the framework and processes utilized to evaluate and prioritize markets, opportunities, and products.
+ Coordinate across BU product management on product planning, forecasting, and new product investment requests.
+ Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge and understanding of the transportation landscape. Identify future trends and make recommendations to drive business strategy.
+ Bring analytical strengths to understanding and evaluating markets and opportunities within and adjacent to current GE Transportation?s digital footprint, including adjacent verticals, technologies, and geographies.
+ Support quarterly product strategy and product portfolio processes through development or contribution to analytical and evaluative frameworks.
+ Build strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including corporate and Digital BD leaders, product & marketing managers, and GMs and staff of Digital Solutions businesses units.
+ Develop relationships and an information network within GE Transportation, GE Digital, and GET?s corporate parent utilize that network to assist in evaluation of potential opportunities
+ Work closely with corporate business development teams on opportunity evaluation, due diligence, and execution.
+ Serve as project lead for investigation, diligence, and evaluation of business development opportunities.Success Criteria:Major performance objectives for this role in the first 12 months are:
+ Take over and own processes for medium to long term product forecasts and NPI models as the owner of the tools and process, expert on aggregation and analysis, and tool/process evolution.
+ Demonstrate capability and leading practice to GET Digital Solution?s process for evaluating and prioritizing market and product opportunities
+ Develop strong working relationships with BU leaders, BU ops leaders, and product managers
+ Create a prioritized plan for maintenance or improvement of existing tools and services and plans to improve our business development analysis, communication, and delivery processes.
+ Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and partners such as GET Comms, GET Marketing, GET Digital Solutions business steams, GE Digital, and others.
+ Demonstrate quantifiable improvements in areas such as:
+ Long term market targeting and strategy processes
+ Evaluation of markets, customer and geography segment needs and priorities
+ Evaluation of opportunity development needs (i.e. implementation needs)
+ Execution planning and execution delivery in terms of technology or business acquisition or internal incubation Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
+ B.S. or B.A. degree business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline or equivalent experience
+ A minimum of 8 years? post-college with ideal candidates bringing deep experience in financial analysis, project management, mergers and acquisitions, technology implementation, and driving teams and results in highly fluid, multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder environments
+ Minimum 5 years managing large scale projects that includes working with external customersEligibility Requirements

+ MBA or similar post-graduate degree preferred
+ Proven ability to champion new ideas, with strong execution skills and proven ability to translate ideas into actions

+ Strong track record of building and leading high performance teams working on highly complex and difficult problems; attracting, developing and retaining talent

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
