Site Employee Communications Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the overall administration of the hourly hiring process including creating job postings, onboarding and orientation
  • Partner with site leadership to execute effective communication and engagement strategies
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employee, time / attendance, payroll and benefit questions
  • Assist in processing changes to employee status / information including new hires, employee job changes, return to works, retirements, etc.
  • Assist with other communication special projects or initiatives as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience related to HR, administration processes, communications, etc.)
  • Ability to take on emergent tasks, work flexible hours as required

  • Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
