Product Owner

Role Summary:
Senior Technical Product Manager understands business needs, working closely with clients to evaluate and translate data, and visualization requirements for Cardiovascular solutions. Key in value based CVIS analytics product offering. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Customers, Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Managers, Development teams and Technical Architects.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Work in lock-step with application or domain leaders acting as a product manager to create a clear strategic direction that will be delivered by the product development team.
+ Direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and deliver product features and functions by balancing customer need with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt.
+ Work closely with our customers to evaluate requirements for the implementation of business intelligence and data warehousing solutions
+ Support and help build the process to grow the analytic capabilities of the organization
+ Own the short-term product roadmap and it?s integration into a larger application or strategic roadmap
+ Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
+ Lead customer and stakeholder interviews to align product design with roles (personas)
+ Own the product backlog; continuously groom and ensure that an agreed scope is always ready to move into development
+ Lead the product development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; owner of functional or technical product design
+ Demonstrate substantial experience with the technology stack and its impact on the final product
+ All other duties/responsibilities as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: ?Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor?s Degree in business, computer science or in ?STEM? Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
+ A minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in OR Master?s degree with 3 years of experience in healthcare Eligibility Requirements:
+ Legal authorization to work in USA is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
+ Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
+ Must be willing to travel
+ Must be willing to work out of an office located in Chicago, IL Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise:
+ Strong expertise in the Cardiovascular departmental workflows
+ Ability to understand end business need, research complex data models and create dashboards from scratch to direct business and operational decisions
+ Hands on exposure to relational database technology and preferred experience using SQL, SSRS, Tableau or Power BI or similar technologies
+ Exposure to ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services a plus
+ Experience leading teams in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management and governance processBusiness Acumen:
+ Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technologies and approaches to solving problems
+ Skilled in breaking down problems and estimating efforts
+ Must be strong at problem solving and demonstrate an analytical mindset
+ Demonstrates awareness of the competitive environment and it?s impact on the product
+ Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to actively participate in buy vs build recommendations, drive market timing decisions and scope of MVPsLeadership:
+ Ability to take ownership of medium sized or incompletely defined tasks

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
