We are seeking a self-driven and strategic Product Manager for our Loves Park, IL site. Product Manager is the owner of its products from cradle to grave: responsible for new customer specific products from idea generation to global market introduction and product discontinuation while still continuing to support already existing products.
Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that products have a solid, robust design, high level of quality, and are competitive throughout the entire product life cycle.


  • Develop new product requirements and product improvements through regular contact with sales organizations and customers.


  • Work closely with technical projects team, application engineers, and sales force.


  • Manage and support product portfolio: customer specific requests in product enhancements.


  • Support global sales organization in project/product sales and applications.


  • Participate in product development projects representing our customers.


  • Provide market feedback for new product specifications and product improvements.


  • Support PMM in development of launch strategies for new products and features in coordination with other global functions and support the sales organization in launching them.


  • Facilitate the development of technical literature, training material and supporting documentation.


  • Provide business cases for new products to support Danfoss Drives long term growth strategy.


  • Maximize sales of drives by securing an optimal product portfolio.


  • Ensure quality and call rate is according to target measurements.


  • Ensure cost down targets are met.



Qualifications:



  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.


  • 3 to 5 years work experience required in BU's industry with detailed knowledge of software, electrical or electro-mechanical competence.


  • Experience within Automation (drive and motor controls preferred).


  • Experienced business professional who can navigate among internal and external stakeholders.


  • Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline driven environment


  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team


  • Global mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization.


  • Excellent time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing effective systems and processes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
