Site Quality Leader

Role Summary:
The Quality Leader will be accountable for the quality at the Rockford site where electromechanical / pneumatic valves, actuators, and other aviation component parts are manufactured and repaired. In the role of Quality Leader, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within the functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy
Essential Responsibilities:
Additionally, as the Quality Leader, key responsibilities will include:
+ Provide overall quality leadership for the site
+ Partner with the site and quality leadership teams to define and execute the business strategy
+ Provide leadership and direction to the quality resources in executing the quality strategy for improvement in customer satisfaction, process capability and quality
+ Assure that site activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements
+ Teach, train, coach and mentor site quality resources in the implementation of quality system and processes
+ Improve customer satisfaction and reduce process variation through application of Lean Six Sigma tools and tactics
+ Select, train and develop quality resources
+ Seek, share and institutionalize best practices Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, manufacturing quality, or product engineering position ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

+ Additional leadership experience in lean manufacturing, product engineering, and manufacturing quality
+ Understanding of the regulatory requirements in the aviation industry
+ Experience working with regulators

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills
+ Statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma (GE employees only) quality concepts and tools
+ Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
+ Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to deliver effective presentations and educate at all levels of the organization

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
