Role Summary:
As a Staff UX Interaction Designer focused on Digital Imaging for GE Healthcare Digital, you will apply your knowledge of leading and defining UX projects and proven industry UX best practices to help research, define, sequence, prototype, design, test and deliver next-generation, intuitive diagnostic imaging software. As a senior UX leader, you will help set a compelling, coherent UX direction for clinical applications to generate customer and user satisfaction, improve outcomes and save lives.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
+ Have a passion for healthcare, imaging and medicine, with a preferred background in one of these areas
+ Demonstrate strong work experience in UX for enterprise software development and delivery
+ Utilize your knowledge of Design Research, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Design Technology and Content Strategy by leading rapid research, design, prototyping and product development efforts in clinical imaging
+ Be a passionate advocate and evangelist of UX with product and engineering leaders and executives, as well as with customers and externally
+ Work directly with product owners and architects to develop realistic product plans and releases that properly prioritize, scope and plan for UX research, design and testing. Work with product owners to understand market needs & vision; work with teams to quickly translate that vision into workflows, interactions and designs
+ Participate in and lead team discussions relative to UX. Feel comfortable independently leading design sprints, UX requirements definition sessions and design thinking workshops, and accurately scoping the UX research and design work you will lead
+ Work directly with clinical customers and users to understand and validate business, diagnostic and technical needs, goals, work processes and outcomes
+ Contribute to and leverage a healthcare-wide design system
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile software development as well as Lean UX methodologies and can troubleshoot the challenges of integrating UX into an Agile model
+ Rapidly become a recognized internal expert on UX for healthcare diagnostic imaging software
+ Guide effective documentation and communication of design - via wireframes, mockups, workflows, prototypes, written requirements, usability documentation and coded UI components
+ Be comfortable critiquing and guiding the visual design for the software components you lead, via a colleague or your own work
+ Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE leadership
+ Combine demonstrated creativity and refined knowledge of visual design and visual communications with very strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving approaches that align all product and design problems back the user?s goals and needs
+ Lead and influence strategy, product and business discussions relative to UX and imaging
+ Be data-fluent: comfortable with spreadsheets, Excel data analysis and graphing, and making graphs and dashboards. Demonstrate strong understanding of data presentation best practices and can identify both ?good? and ?bad? data displays and dashboard designs
+ Be experienced in use of a visual design system and its applications in data-intensive software
+ Guide effective documentation and communication of UX and visual design of any projects - via personas, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes at low and high fidelity, workflows, user stories, and test visualizations
+ Demonstrate mastery of the end-end UX process, including quantitative and qualitative user research for discovery and product definition, multiple forms of formal and informal user testing, and usability evaluations
+ Be a passionate advocate for end user research and testing as part of your iterative UX process
+ Lead external benchmarking research and evaluation of emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends related to clinical imaging and diagnostics
+ Be a mechanism for team and customer collaboration and facilitation. Work very closely with customers as well as both product and engineering leads to define, ideate and test approaches and solutions
+ Be comfortable leading customer engagements and design workshops Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor?s Degree in Interaction, Graphic, or Industrial Design preferred or in ?STEM? Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
+ A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in product or service design OR Master?s degree with 6 years of experience in product or service design.Eligibility Requirements:

+ Must be willing to work out of an office located in Chicago, IL or Boston, Ma Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise:
+ Uses participatory design activities (e.g. paper prototype co-creation, card sorting) to understand vision, business model and assumptions and tacit knowledge about user needs and behaviors.
+ Conducts user research to understand user needs, mental models and working contexts
+ Synthesizes output of stakeholder research & creates visualizations that effectively summarize key insights related to user and customer needs and behaviors, product definition.
+ Creates annotated prototypes or wireframes of user interface designs that visually and textually communicate the behavior of a software application.
+ Skilled in standard design & wireframing tools (Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Sketch), hand drawing and visual communication, time-based and interactive prototyping tools (Hype, Adobe Edge, Keynote).Business Acumen:
+ Develops knowledge of industrial business domains, products, key processes, suppliers, customers and market/competitors.
+ Understands and stays up to date on the industry?s technology landscape; brings new ideas to the team. Maps industry technology trends to internal vision.
+ Understands principles of design thinking, what it is and why it is important. Explores all ideas, regardless of their source.
+ Works to create an understanding of how individual people and things fit within larger structures (like systems or organizations), as well as the relationships between parts of a system and the system as a whole.Leadership:
+ Understands the value of a rigorous, collaborative and transparent decision-making process.
+ Demonstrates sensitivity to key cultural issues.
+ Uses generative techniques (sketching, brainstorming, etc.) to establish a variety of possible design decisions and decision scenarios.
+ Expresses UX and design concepts to collaborators on cross functional teams. Goes beyond merely presenting designs, explains the story of the rationale and benefit of design ideas.Personal Attributes:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
