Senior Product Manager:
Role Summary/Purpose
The Rockford Senior Product Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities In addition you will:

Lead the Product Management team to meet the business metrics for Standard Product Code
Assign project-estimating duties within the department to develop labor costs for projects in a timely manner
Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management
Present high-risk projects to Management and Project Management for discussion and approval prior to quotation
Help develop a process to refine the written proposal process assuring accuracy of proposals prior to submitting to customers
Work with Sourcing to help develop RFQ process to receive firm bids from contractors and suppliers, as needed, on labor quotations
Work with the Sales team to promote the successful sale of labor services in conjunction with sales
Attend sales meetings to define and follow up on labor opportunities
Work with Project Management team to assure clear hand off of new projects to their execution team
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience
Minimum of 1 year of Estimating experience
Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel, as required

Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes
Strong Leadership skills (Direct and indirect)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality training
Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
