Responsibilities:
Responsible for first piece article checks, counting parts, identifying parts and checking dimensions after heat treat and testing.
Determine part status - pass, fail, re-work.
Perform inspection at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure quality parts/products Assist with set-up for quality parts for all machine shop departments Perform in-process inspection to ensure correct dimensions Perform first piece inspection Perform heat treat inspection against print Perform final inspection of parts Resolve print discrepancies with engineering Work with appropriate outside vendors (checking hardness, application of black oxide, etc.
) Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Job Type:
