Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our physical therapy and massage therapy clinic.
This position is part-time, requiring availability from 3:
00 PM to 7:
00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include patient scheduling, handling payments for copays, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedule appointments for physical therapy and massage therapy sessions using our electronic scheduling system.
Verify patient insurance information and collect copayments.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or redirect them appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Assist therapists with administrative tasks as needed.
Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Handle patient records with confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns or inquiries effectively.
Assist with billing tasks and reconciling payments as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
Proficiency in using electronic scheduling systems and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payments.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
