Responsibilities:

Sets up, programs and operates CNC machinesPlans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical controlled machines; mills, lathes, routers, saws to machine plastic or metal work pieces Interprets complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be donePerforms diversified operations on numerical controlled machinesPerforms a variety of related operations to close and interrelated tolerancesReviews setup sheet and specifications to determine sequence and dimensions of finished work pieceAttaches fixtures to machine according to setup instructionsManipulates controls to start machineObserves and listens to machine operation to detect malfunctionsPerforms a variety of inspection and gaging operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specificationsMeasures work piece for conformance to specifications Notifies Supervisor of discrepanciesAdjusts machine according to specificationsCleans machine parts and performs machine maintenanceEducation/
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous machine operation experience is required.
