Position
Summary:
The QC Inspection Lead will coordinate dimensional inspection of small machined plastic and metal components for the QC department.
Will use GDT knowledge to interrupt blueprints.
Coordinates FAI activities to ensure proper procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:
Include the following, as well as other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate and assign inspection duties (FA, In-Process and Final) to department personnelClose tolerance dimensional Inspection of small machined plastic & metal componentsAbility to follow written instructions and to complete relative inspection paperworkCorrective Actions - assign, investigate and respond to opportunities for improvementAnalyze non-conforming parts in order to identify root causes problem resolution Implement & manage calibration activities through formal programsDocumentation - Complete both internal and customer related documentation as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency with inspection tools including CMM and Optical comparator Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management SystemsProficiency in conducting internal auditsEducation and
Experience:
Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Ability to read and interpret prints drawings in addition to customer expectationsExperience in manufacturing and inspection Equal Opportunity Employer:
